ZANU-PF’s Harare Provincial leadership has announced the immediate suspension of all activities and programs run by its affiliate organisations across the province, citing the need for order, discipline and alignment with an ongoing restructuring exercise.
The decision was revealed during a high-level meeting held at the ZANU-PF Harare Province Offices, where Provincial Chairman Cde Goodwills Masimirembwa addressed affiliate leaders from across the capital.
He was joined by Provincial Political Commissar Cde Voyage Dambuza and other senior provincial executives.
In his address, Cde Masimirembwa stressed that all energy must now be channeled into the restructuring process, which he described as critical for strengthening party structures, improving coordination and ensuring that affiliates operate in line with the party’s vision and leadership.
“All Harare Province affiliate programs and activities are suspended with immediate effect,” the Chairman announced, calling for a return to order and proper coordination among all affiliate bodies.
The meeting drew affiliate leaders from across Harare Province, along with some national leaders, for what is being seen as a pivotal engagement on the future direction and organisation of party affiliate structures in the capital.
