Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani has been picked by Joburg Super Kings (JSK) for R500,000 at the Betway SA20 Season 5 auction held on Tuesday.

The towering paceman becomes part of a revamped JSK squad that emerged as the biggest spenders at the auction, paying R8.97 million for six players.
Their expenditure accounted for 49.1% of the total money spent during the event.
JSK also secured South Africa Under-19 captain Jason Rowles for a record R2.9 million, while former captain Faf du Plessis returned for R2.7 million.
Kieron Pollard was bought for R1.5 million, USA international Andries Gous for R1 million and Dayyaan Galiem for R375,000.
Muzarabani’s R500,000 price tag accounts for 5.6% of JSK’s total auction spending and adds international pace to their bowling options.
A total of 18 players were purchased for R18.27 million by four franchises. MI Cape Town spent R6.2 million, with Wiaan Mulder their biggest acquisition at R2.6 million.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape made two signings, bringing in Craig Overton for R1.5 million and Nandre Burger for R500,000.
Pretoria Capitals completed their business with Rassie van der Dussen and Temba Bavuma joining for R500,000 and R200,000 respectively.
Durban’s Super Giants and Paarl Royals did not participate in the auction after finalising their squads during the retention period.
