Violence has no place in public transport. Police launch investigations into the brutal assault captured on video at Musami Cross.

Police have launched investigations into a violent assault allegedly involving members of the Bolt Cutter bus crew following the circulation of a disturbing video on social media showing passengers being attacked at Musami Cross in Domborembudzi.

The footage, which has generated widespread outrage, shows two men repeatedly kicking a passenger on the head while he lies helplessly on the ground.

The victim appears unable to defend himself during the assault and is later seen struggling to stand, raising fears that he may have sustained serious injuries.

National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed that investigations into the incident were underway.

“Reference is made to the video circulating on social media in which members of the Bolt Cutter Bus Crew are seen violently assaulting passengers at Musami Cross, Domborembudzi,” said Assistant Commissioner Nyathi.
