Businesses across Zimbabwe are being urged to invest in the country’s emerging talent, as organisers of the newly launched Young Achievers Awards Zimbabwe open sponsorship opportunities ahead of the ceremony’s debut at the Hyatt Regency Harare on Saturday, 15 August 2026.

The initiative, run by UK registered charity Ekhaya Skills Centre, is calling on corporates, entrepreneurs and institutions to partner with the awards as it makes its first appearance on Zimbabwean soil after more than eleven years of honouring Zimbabwean achievement within the United Kingdom.

Organizers say the sponsorship drive is central to building a platform that can sustainably recognize young leaders under the age of 35 who are excelling in sectors ranging from agriculture and technology to the arts, sport and community development.

A handful of businesses have already signed on as inaugural partners, among them Jan Paul, Eaglemat Insurance, Mudhumeni Mukuru, Ngoto Native Urban Brew Premium Lager and MTM Fleet Maintenance. Their contributions, organisers say, are helping shape an event designed to connect rising achievers with opportunities that could accelerate their growth.

Several sponsorship tiers remain open to companies wishing to come on board, including title sponsorship, category and award sponsorship, corporate tables, gift sponsorship, brand activation, exhibition space and media partnerships. Businesses that take up these packages have been promised national brand exposure, sustained media coverage, premium networking access and direct engagement with some of Zimbabwe’s most influential young professionals.

Companies interested in securing a sponsorship pack have been asked to reach out to the organisers by email for further details.

Beyond sponsorship, individuals and corporates can also secure attendance directly, with individual tickets priced at fifty five United States dollars, a half table of five guests at two hundred and sixty dollars, and a full corporate table of ten at five hundred dollars. Booking is being handled through an online ticketing portal, with organisers warning that space at the venue is limited.

The ceremony, which runs from six in the evening until eleven and includes a three course dinner, will recognize achievement across categories including young entrepreneurship, agriculture, technology, innovation, academics, arts, music, sport, community leadership and a Rising Star category for achievers under eighteen.

Organisers described the sponsorship push as an investment not only in a single evening but in a long term platform that will keep spotlighting Zimbabwean youth achievement well beyond August. They noted that partners stand to benefit from association with a growing movement built on more than a decade of credibility earned through the awards’ work in the United Kingdom.

Media houses have also been invited to attend the gala, interview finalists and sponsors, and help carry forward stories of achievement emerging from the event.

Businesses wishing to explore partnership opportunities, alongside members of the public seeking tickets, have been encouraged to contact the organizing team ahead of the August ceremony.
