HARARE – Special Presidential Investment Adviser Paul Tungwarara was reportedly rushed to South Africa in the early hours of Monday after experiencing a heart-related health scare.

Sources close to Tungwarara said he made a midnight trip across the border after being diagnosed with angina, a condition associated with chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.
He reportedly arrived in South Africa at around 1:21am on Monday, hours after sharing a video on social media.
A close associate said Tungwarara is responding well to treatment and that his condition has since stabilised following medical attention.
“He is responding well to treatment,” the associate said.
Details of the hospital where Tungwarara is receiving treatment were not immediately available.
Tungwarara, a prominent businessman and philanthropist, has remained active on social media in recent weeks, sharing updates on investment initiatives and other projects.
