He will be assisted by Tafadzwa Nkala and Edgar Rumeck as first and second assistants respectively, while Lawrence Zimondi will act as the fourth official.
The appointment offers the Zimbabwean officials a major platform to prove themselves at continental level and gain crucial experience in top-flight African club competition.
Meanwhile, South African official Abongile Tom has been appointed to take charge of the CAF Champions League second preliminary round first-leg encounter in Zimbabwe on October 18.
The match will be between Zimbabwean champions and Angolan giants Petro de Luanda
