Speaking during a ZANU PF Politburo meeting, President Mnangagwa said the party would review both the arrangements for hosting the gathering and the issues expected to be discussed.
He urged members of the party’s Central Committee Executive Committee, who will lead various conference committees, to carry out their duties while taking into account the views and contributions of delegates.
Cde Mnangagwa said discussions at the conference should promote democracy within the party and produce resolutions that support economic development and improve people’s living standards.
He emphasised the importance of using the collective experience and views of delegates, who represent the wider ZANU PF membership, in shaping the party’s decisions.
The President said the conference should go beyond internal party discussions, with its resolutions expected to contribute positively to the economy and the general well-being of Zimbabweans.
