US$350k Birthday Gift: Tungwarara gifts Magaya with USD 350k birthday gift at Magaya’s night Of turnaround

Businessman and Special Advisor to the President Dr Paul Tungwarara handed PHD Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya a US$350,000 cash birthday gift during the high-profile “Night of Turnaround” service, in an evening where several prominent entrepreneurs stampeded to shower the clergyman with lavish presents.

The mega-event drew thousands of congregants, dignitaries and business leaders to the church’s headquarters, transforming the religious gathering into a display of immense wealth and corporate patronage.

As celebrations peaked, a roster of wealthy business tycoons outdid one another to spoil the popular prophet. Hadrock boss Shephered Chahwanda matched Tungwarara with US$350,000, while Prophet Passion Java and his team presented US$300,000, Brian Pande added US$50,000 and Hon.Scott Sakupwanya promised an undisclosed gift to be handed over privately.

The flurry of high-value gifts from the country’s business elite shows the deep-rooted alliances between corporate players and charismatic religious figures in Zimbabwe, creating a spectacle of affluence that left many in awe.
