Prof Ncube attributed the success to the “able leadership” of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, stating that the government has actively repositioned the country as a stable and profitable destination for capital.

“We engaged global investors and development partners, positioning Zimbabwe as a stable, reform-driven and profitable investment destination,” he said.

Prof Ncube said that the discussions in New York went beyond ceremonial diplomacy, focusing on concrete economic opportunities under the Second Republic.

The statement signals a continued push by the government to project a image of economic reform and stability despite ongoing domestic challenges, with Prof Ncube insisting that the international community is receptive to Zimbabwe’s current trajectory.

“We engaged global investors and development partners, positioning Zimbabwe as a stable, reform-driven and profitable investment destination.”
