A suicide note reportedly left by the late Lyliosa Chirara has shed light on the difficulties she claimed to have experienced in her marriage to the late Commissioner Martin Muduva before their deaths last week.
In the note, Chirara alleged that Muduva had stopped sharing their bedroom and had not been intimate with her between 2022 and 2025. She reportedly attributed the change in their relationship to his attainment of a PhD, claiming that he subsequently became emotionally distant.
Chirara further alleged that Muduva later told her he had found a “proper wife” whom he believed was more suited to his status.
The note, first reported by The Herald, also reportedly contained allegations that Muduva had secretly married another woman after spending about a year in a relationship with her.
The claims have brought renewed attention to the couple’s troubled marriage as details surrounding the deaths continue to emerge.
The allegations contained in the note have not independently been verified, and the circumstances surrounding the deaths remain subject to investigation.
