ZIFA Appoints Stella Gotal as New Mighty Warriors Coach

The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has reportedly appointed Stella Gotal as the new head coach of the Mighty Warriors.

Gotal’s appointment is part of a broader restructuring of Zimbabwe’s national football teams, with ZIFA expected to officially announce a new group of coaches today.

The former Croatian international holds a UEFA Pro Licence and brings international coaching experience to the senior women’s national team.

She previously coached the Gibraltar senior women’s national team before stepping down from the position in June 2026.

Gotal will be tasked with rebuilding the Mighty Warriors and improving their competitiveness in regional and continental competitions.

ZIFA is expected to provide further details regarding her appointment and technical team.
