“Police are looking for Bonda Girls High School teacher Anesu Mautsa (48), who is wanted in connection with allegations of sexually abusing female students. Investigations are currently underway, and members of the public with information that may assist in locating the suspect are urged to report to the nearest police station,” said Commissioner Nyathi.

The allegations have sent shockwaves through the school community and raised fresh concerns about the safety and welfare of learners in educational institutions.
School authorities said the alleged abuse involved several students and that measures were being implemented to strengthen learner protection systems.
In a statement, the school said it was reviewing its security procedures and support structures.
The school also indicated that counselling services for affected learners were being strengthened while the Child Protection Committee was being reactivated to improve safeguarding mechanisms.
School officials said the measures were intended to ensure the safety and wellbeing of learners and to provide support to those who may have been affected.
The case has once again brought attention to child protection issues within schools and the importance of reporting suspected abuse.
Authorities have encouraged victims, parents and community members to cooperate with investigators and report any information that may assist police inquiries.
Commissioner Nyathi appealed to members of the public to assist law enforcement agencies in locating the suspect.
