The Grain Marketing Board (GMB) has warned members of the public against fraudsters falsely claiming to be third parties recruiting employees on behalf of the organisation.

Read E-PaperIn a press statement, GMB said it does not use third parties to employ people, urging job seekers to be cautious when approached with employment offers claiming to be from the organisation.
The parastatal said all legitimate vacancies are advertised through national newspapers, its verified social media platforms and official website.
“Any job offers made outside these official channels are fake and should be treated with suspicion,” GMB said.
The organisation urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
GMB also encouraged job seekers to verify employment information through its official communication platforms before responding to any job advertisement or offer.
